Patrick Blott

Founder

Patrick Blott founded Blott Asset Management L.L.C. in 2005. Previously, Mr. Blott spent 14 years in private equity and investment banking in New York and was an original member of Borealis Capital Corporation in 2001. For Borealis Private Equity and Borealis Infrastructure Fund, he sourced investment opportunities, structured deals, led investment teams, and assisted in underwriting $1.01 billion of private equity investments for control positions in a diverse portfolio of public and private companies.

Previously, Mr. Blott was a senior investment professional at JP Morgan and Bank of America Securities in New York, structuring private equity and growth capital investments on behalf of firms including KKR, Texas Pacific Group, Warburg Pincus, Blackstone Group, TH Lee, Bain Capital, and JP Morgan Partners. Prior to JP Morgan, Mr. Blott began his financial career as a Financial Analyst and then Associate in Leveraged Finance.

Mr. Blott has participated as a Board Member or Advisor at Express Pipelines L.L.C., BPC Long Term Care L.L.C., The Hospital Infrastructure Company, Maax Inc, Auto Guide Inc, and Emerald Corp. He earned his MBA from Columbia Business School.

He is an Elder of The Brick Presbyterian Church in New York and a Patron of The Tip of the Spear Foundation, a private foundation serving the nations tier one Elite Operators and their families in times of need.


Lanre Adejumo

Lanre Adejumo joined Blott Asset management in 2012 as a Managing Director and member of the firm's Investment Committee. He focuses on global investments, deal origination, negotiation, financing, internal and external compliance, and legal affairs. Mr. Adejumo is a practicing attorney. He has spent over 20 years negotiating complex private investment transactions in both domestic and emerging economies, with extensive experience in private equity, infrastructure finance, insurance, trade and commercial transactions.

Previously, Mr. Adejumo was in-house legal counsel at Berkshire Hathaway Group, a $225 billion value investment firm based in Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. Adejumo obtained extensive litigation experience at Berkshire Hathaway and has led substantial successful recoveries for Berkshire Hathaway within the reinsurance division, including claims arising from complex acquisitions and long-tail liability exposures. Mr. Adejumo also served as a leading investment advisory professional at OPEC Fund, an $8 billion opportunity fund owned by the member states of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), based in Vienna, Austria.

Notably, Mr. Adejumo recently completed the acquisition and expansion of a cement manufacturing facility in Fushe Kruja, Albania, and a port facility in Karachi, Pakistan. His career has spanned positions across Europe, Africa and the United States, in private equity, investment banking, insurance and development finance. He has completed investments in Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, North Africa (MENA) and sub-Saharan Africa.

He has advised on investment strategy and execution for select Asian and African SMEs, the United Nations Development Program, and the World Bank. He has extensive experience negotiating various investment, lending, project finance, fund formation, and custodial agreements, globally. He has particular expertise in handling highly complex cross-border strategic joint venture and other synergistic transactions on behalf of portfolio companies.

Mr. Adejumo is a graduate of Columbia University and the University of Ife Nigeria, where he holds Masters' degrees in economic policy, management, and law respectively. Mr. Adejumo is admitted to practice in the US Court of International Trade and the US District courts for the eastern and southern districts of New York. In addition, he serves on the advisory board of a number of non-profit organizations in the United States and Africa, including Sauti Yetu, a New York based NGO catering to victims of domestic abuse.
